It's Not Just About the Money How to Build an Organization Ready for Authentic Major Donor Relationships

Richard Perry Jeff Schreifels
The Veritus Group & authors of the award winning Passionate Giving blog

These esteemed thought leaders and practitioners in the world of major gifts believe that achieving success with major gifts has as much to do with an organization – its philosophy and culture, its leadership and systems – as it does with a talented major gifts officer, a dedicated major gifts team and committed donors. Artfully able to combine mission-centered inspiration with really practical strategies, Richard and Jeff will zero in on how to feed donors’ passions for your cause, how to build a solid and authentic team within your organization and how to lead a vibrant, robust major gifts program.

Richard Perry has more than 30 years of nonprofit leadership and fundraising experience. He was a Development Director of a major international relief and development organization and a cofounder of The Domain Group. Richard believes that successful major gift fundraising is about helping donors express who they are through their giving. Richard is the founding partner of Veritus Group.
