Program Description:

Do you find yourself constantly juggling your fundraising responsibilities with 64 other tasks for your mission? Raising money in a small nonprofit can feel overwhelming sometimes, but the truth is you have 6 superpowers that fundraisers in bigger organizations would LOVE to have!  You just need to recognize and unleash them -- even when it means you break some commonly held fundraising rules. Uncover your superpowers and learn how to avoid the small shop fundraisers' kryptonite.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify tangible opportunities for personalizing and maximizing interactions with donors to smaller organizations.
  2. Realize the importance of being the expert in your organization’s niche and clarify how to leverage that expertise into talking points your donors can use to be movement makers.
  3. Recognize some of the “kryptonite” barriers that small shops face (consistency of data collection, planning, carving out time for fundraising) and develop coping mechanisms to overcome them.

This program is eligible for 1.5 CFRE credit hours. Please note that you are required to self track your own credit hours.
