Be a session leader for our 2018 AFP Advancement Northwest programs

We are looking ahead to 2018 and thinking about how we can curate the most relevant, effective and interesting programs for the Northwest fundraising community with your help. Consider submitting a proposal (it's a quick form!) to lead one of our sessions for our monthly trainings or the Forum on Strategic Fundraising

Never presented before? No problem. We encourage newcomers and seasoned speakers alike to submit! Proposals that include dynamic techniques to engage adult learners are especially interesting to us.

What Our Community Wants
Our summer included deep conversations with Northwest fundraising leaders and some of our partner organizations. We asked them about the most pressing fundraising issues today and how we can better serve the professional development needs of our nonprofit community. They answered! We have combined their input with some of the ongoing topics our community requests year after year. Review the list here and get inspired to submit a proposal. 

 What you will need to complete your proposal: 

  • Contact Information for the presenter and co-presenters (if applicable)
  • Proposed session title
  • Summary of session concept (75 words or fewer)
  • Presentation style (think about dynamic techniques to engage adult learners)
  • Audience expertise level and development team size
  • Preferred type of Advancement Northwest program (monthly trainings or Forum on Strategic Fundraising)
