Lightning Talks

Lightning Talks are springing up across the nation!

We are excited to bring this new format to you, our community of nonprofit leaders. Fresh ideas delivered in an innovative way. The concept springs from input received over the years. You asked to hear from new voices with different perspectives. That is what Lightning Talks are all about.

Lightning Talks are not TED Talks but have a similar feel. What you will experience are seven speakers, from wildly differing backgrounds. Each person will provide a five-minute talk using 20 PowerPoint slides that automatically advance. The idea is simple. Everyone has a story and that story, when shared, could change lives.

You will laugh. You will be moved. You will participate in a fast moving, active listening and robust discussion forum. You will take away new ideas from unexpected places.

Don’t miss the opportunity to engage in something on the cutting edge of conferences worldwide. Buckle up and get ready for some Zap and Pow! Lightning Talks are coming your way.

The motto is: Enlighten us but do it quickly.
