Attendees will learn how to increase their corporate donors by engaging with a company's employees. It has been said that the way in is through employees - this is true now more than ever before. Learn about the ways in which you can engage employees, how to find affinity groups (aka employee resource groups) and how to leverage the relationship with an affinity group and turn it into a financial gift or sponsorship.

About the Speakers


Joy Stephens is the founder and president of o 2 joy, a consulting firm specializing in fundraising, formation and training for nonprofit organizations. Over the last 12 years, Joy’s team has worked with a variety of groups ranging from small grassroots entities to large national organizations.   

In 2014, the Corporate Giving Network (CGN) was formed to be professional development, educational and networking group for fundraisers who focused on corporate donors.  CGN offers an annual conference and monthly [email protected] sessions – more information can be found at corporategn.com

Joy serves as a trustee on the board at the Columbia Tower Club and is president of the club’s Philanthropy Committee. She teaches at UW in their fundraising certificate program and is developing a certificate program in Corporate Giving.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Robert Morris University graduating Summa Cum Laude.  She majored in marketing and finance.
